Does personality comes first?
Ever heard of someone saying, “Looks doesn’t matter to me… only the person’s personality is the most important”
I’ve heard of this phrase a million times and that person is lying =)
I have concluded that the statement that was made above is a lie. One very good example would be…
Compare 2 people.
One is fat and ugly while the other one is pretty.
Imagine both of them doing the exact same thing.
“(Whines) I feel it is so difficult to do this question”
The reaction from guys is totally different towards the 2 people.
For the pretty girl, it would be very endearing and ‘cute’.
For the fat and ugly girl, it would be very irritating.
Ever wondered why? It is because people in general are very full of bullshit. It includes me also alright! I believe that people who says, “I go for personality and not for looks, looks are not important to me.”
I figured that phrase is quite bullshit because humans in general are selfish.
Here is a little fact-of-the-day.
Humans are the only mammals that kill each other for no particular reason.
Humans are selfish period.

i would agree that the sad truth of the matter is, that ugly people tend to get discriminated against. sometimes unfairly. i think that behaviour could be the redeeming factor.
but generally, you'd look for any reason (and sometimes none at all!) to hate someone with a kiam-pah face, wouldn't you? :)

GI: kiam pah is a hokkien word used in Singapore...
it means that the person has a look that irritates pple with the big word "punch me" over his/her forehead
